DESIGN
Ted Todd floors are created in a variety of designs, including classic planks (in both wide and super wide sizes) and popular parquet formats such as herringbone, chevron and squares. While plank formats remain an enduring and ever-popular choice, herringbone and chevron wooden floors have become synonymous with trendy interior spaces in recent years – and their popularity only continues to increase.
PLANKS We have plank widths to suit every home. Our narrow planks are 80mm , increasing to a more traditional width of 140mm to 180mm . Our wide planks are 190mm , our extra wide planks are 220mm to 260mm , and our super wide planks reach a staggering 300mm in width.
HERRINGBONE Made up of individual elements arranged into a variety of designs, herringbone patterns have a strong design impact and works well in all interior styles. We offer both narrow and standard herringbone widths. Please see page 152 for more parquet patterns.
CHEVRON Chevrons are angled at 45 or 33 degrees for a strong statement look and unlike herringbone they meet end to end, rather than end to side.
SQUARES Our squares are an unusual format for a wood floor. Mix with planks, chevron or herringbone or lay on their own for a statement look. See our Create ® squares on page 64.
CLADDING Our stunning woods don’t just look good on the floor. For a truly unique look, our 15mm floors can be used on walls, ceilings, doors or furniture.
