BOASTING 294 ROOMS AND SUITES, AS WELL AS 7 EXCLUSIVE PENTHOUSES SHOWCASING INDIVIDUAL INTERIOR STYLING AND FEATURING HANDMADE WOODWORKS WOOD FLOORS. PROJECT OVERVIEW During the hotel’s modern refurbishment in 2011, we were approached by global award-winning designers G.A Group to bring our artisan flooring into many of the hotel’s penthouse suites and five-story spa area. HOW WE HELPED Requiring something truly special and individual for these sought-after spaces, the team worked with the designers to craft bespoke flooring for the Musician’s Suite, Actor’s Suite, Inventor’s Suite, Politician’s Suite and Royal Suite. Our skilled craftspeople also created flooring for the spa, spanning treatment rooms, a relaxation area and a gymnasium. OUTCOME The Woodworks floors within the Corinthia have now been installed for over a decade having remained a fundamental part of the design during the hotels 2018 refurbishment. They are still looking as beautiful as the day they were first installed with many having matured a rich patina throughout the years.

We go above and beyond the usual environmental and sustainability standards, and have many third party accreditations. In short, all of our timber (whether floors or wall cladding) follow the UK Timber Regulations as standard, which verifies that all of our timber is legally harvested. All of our floors are also SVOC free and have low VOC emissions. SVOCs are pollutants at the molecular level which are emitted from synthetic man-made materials such as LVT, vinyl and plastics.
